A pleasurable walk that will take you to the major monuments of Rome's historic city center letting you relive Rome's baroque-era beauty Starting from the Victor Emanuel Monument, we will stroll down Rome's fascinating alleyways, away from modern day traffic and confusion, as our guide recounts the stories and historical antidotes of the many little fountains, buildings and piazzas which remain seemingly undisturbed in almost every corner of this magnificent city. As we weave in and out of the maze of narrow streets we suddenly find ourselves in front of the breathtaking Pantheon, the only pagan temple still completely intact. Our walk continues on to the Trevi Fountain, to toss in a coin so as to assure your return to Rome, a stop for "gelato" at our most favourite roman (not tourist) "gelateria" and concludes with a visit to Piazza Navona, host to Bernini's fabulous Four Rivers Fountain and Rome's many sidewalk artists and musicians. You will have a taste of what Rome really is.
