So far this spring has been pretty rainy. You expect that Rome always should be sunny and warm, unfortunately it is not. If you happened to be here while the weather it not on the best side, do not despair! There are options that dose not inquire nice weather. Here are some tips on how to spend rainy days in Rome

#1 Hammam Aqua Madre

Hammam is a traditional Turkish bath but it is not that different from the facilities the ancient Romans were using, so called thermae. Aqua Madre is located in a beautiful area, the Ghetto, in the center of Rome. Take a break here if you need to escape the cold rain and the traffic noise. You will be well taken care off  by the staff who will guide you through the traditional hammam procedure. You will leave energized and with a softer skin. You have to book in advance. #2 Visit a Museum

Rome is filled with museums and rainy days are the best museum days. Join one of our tours in the Vatican museums, Borghese Gallery or why not the Capitoline Museums. Skip the long line of umbrella-carrying- people and enter directly.

#3 Eat and shop!

We have been writing about Eataly before but it can be repeated. Eataly is a mall with Italian food where you really can taste the whole country. Try their own beer, wine from different regions, cheese, cold cuts, fish, meat, pizza, pasta – you name it. Take the opportunity to buy food souvenirs to bring back home.

#4 Take a cooking Class
