In 1904, he moved into the Rose Period, flush with warmer tones and happier themes such as Portrait of Señora Canals. This style evolved into Picasso’s most iconic period, Cubism, a style which allowed Picasso’s freedom from realist features which were fully realized in such works as The Passeig de Colom. Then, in 1907, Picasso’s style took influence from African masks, distorting features and perspectives like seen in The Offering. All of these works hang in Barcelona.
