Your exploration begins in Campo San Giacometto, an adorable square located in a bustling shopping area. Here, your small group will meet your LivItaly tour guide at the church of San Giacomo di Rialto. This precious church is one of the oldest in Venice and dates back to 412 AD. Browse the beautiful market with the locals and get a feel for daily life. Venetians come to this neighborhood to buy fresh groceries, such as fish and vegetables. While the sun is starting to warm up the city, your tour begins. The Venice small group walking tour gives you the opportunity to see and experience some of the 118 islands that Venice is built around.

Our first stop will be on Venice’s most famous bridge, Ponte Rialto. Enjoy the unique architecture while your LivItaly guide explains the structure. Marvel over the architecture, engineering and interesting history. From the highest point of the bridge you will have a dazzling view over the Grand Canal. Take a picture with the beautiful background or have a look over the morning boat traffic on the canal.

When you book a LivItaly Small Group Tour, you are guaranteed one tour guide per group of 6 people. Please bear in mind though that in order to accommodate traveling families and friends, we do on rare occasion make the exception of adding an additional one to two guests in order not to split groups who are traveling together. On that same note, you may find yourself on tour with less than six people. As we accept bookings in multiples of six, math doesn’t always work in our favor to help accommodate individual travelers and their families when on the same tour, so we hope you understand and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please Note:

*During low season (November 3-March 30) it is not possible to reserve skip the line tickets to St. Mark’s Basilica. Due to the low number of visitors there are normally no lines during this period.

*In order to book this experience, you need to be at least 2 participants.
