This was the Rome Three Day All-Inclusive Private Tour. It covered just about anything a first-time visitor to Rome would want to see. I ll not go into the highlights of the city and the tour itinerary as that can be gotten from the website explanation. Be prepared – this is a very long and tiring tour. In three days, my wife and I walked 24 miles . There is no way we would have been able to see and learn as much if we h ad not taken this tour. We would have spent many hours in lines waiting for tickets and understood very little about what we were looking at. The pr ice may seem expensive to many but we do not regret it. Considering all that is included this is actually a bargain. Having someone else deal with t he logistics and being able to bypass the lines, know the tricks, and give good advice was worth a lot. This was a private tour that included the two of us and the tour guides. For the first two days the guide was Valeria. Her passion and knowledge for the history, archeology, art, and sculpture is amazing. Her friendly personality was great. She always looked out for our lost behavior and was very gracious when we caused her to get off schedule. We really appreciated her understanding and feel fortunate to have gotten her for the guide. Andrea was the guide for the third day tour to Tivoli. He was like a historian and went into every detail about the sites. There were issues with the driver and transportation but soon as Livitaly knew about it the situation was dealt with. We believe Livitaly compensate d for this during another tour in a different city we booked later in the w eek. I doubt the problem will be repeated with future customers. Despite the inconveniences on the third tour, we still liked the package in its entirety. Valeria was so wonderful there is no way this could be anything but a great review. For the maximum Rome experience in a few days, we highly recommend this three day tour. Thanks to Livitaly for making this a vacation to remember.
