A sudden eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. buried Pompeii under 6 meters of ash. It was wiped completely off the map and forgotten about until it was rediscovered in 1599.

This horrible incident left us with an important historical legacy that gives us a glimpse of ancient Roman life. On this private tour you will be guided by an archaeologist or an archaeology expert who will draw you a picture of the ancient city.
