Giovanna will take you through centuries of oil making from Ancient Greece to Ancient Rome and onto the Medieval and Renaissance times. Learn how the practices changed over the years and how they compare to now. Giovanna will also help you understand why olive oil is so characteristic of Italy, and explain how until 1986, Italy was the only olive oil producer in the entire world. Learn why that changed and how it has affected the industry of Italian olive oil.
