If you are traveling in Rome this summer I’m sure you will spend several long hours of your day braving the heat to explore the endless sights. Well, what sounds better than going home from sightseeing, taking a shower, putting on some nice clothes and going to a live concert in a beautiful courtyard? Whether you are looking for a romantic evening out, or simply have an appreciation for live music, we recommend you check out the International Chamber Ensemble.

This summer, Rome will be hosting its 34th annual concert season, where the I.C.E. will be treating audiences to 15 memorable musical evenings throughout the months of June, July, and August. Even if you have not heard of the I.C.E. or are worried about entertaining picky kids, trust me when I say that you want to hear this group. Their repertory offers a variety of music combining classical giants like Mozart and Beethoven with Argentine tangos and even the Beatles. An Evening with Great Music at the Courtyard of S. Ivo in Rome

To make this event even better, it is being held in the Courtyard of S. Ivo alla Sapienza, a magnificent courtyard located in the heart of ancient Rome. Found between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, this courtyard dates all the way back to the 15th century and allows for the concerts to be held right under the stars!

We truly recommend you make the most of this wonderful opportunity and take the time to go listen!
