Learn about the myths and legends which tell the tale of this coastline which was once known as the Land of the Sirens. Sarah will tell you stories straight from her home near Naples about what makes the Amalfi Coast a jewel of the Mediterranean and why its towns such as Positano, Ravello and more have attracted the likes of renowned filmmakers from all around the globe. Get a glimpse of history into Maritime Republics and how this one differs from Genova and Venice. Leave with some fun facts such as the history of the famous swirling Amalfi coastline road and the efforts it took to build this iconic symbol which attracts visitors from all around. Get an idea of what farming is like on the steep terraced system in Amalfi and how local lemons, cedri and olives are harvested given the difficult geographical make up of the town.
