ABOUT YOUR FERRARI FOR FAMILIES DAY EXPERIENCE
Your full day family day out starts in the town of Maranello, in the region where the Ferrari brand began. Here you will take the wheel of the Ferrari California, for 10 minutes up to 2 hours. The California is one of the few models with 4 seats, making it a great choice for the family (keeping in mind, one seat will be occupied by your accompanying Ferrari expert). When travelling with kids you want to keep them entertained, and that’s exactly what this full day experience will do. Going for a ride in a real super car is going to get them excited! As soon as you turn on the ignition and hear the growl of it’s V8 engine, it’s sure to put a smile on everybody’s face!

With your expert Ferrari driver alongside and family in the back, cruise around Maranello, enjoying both the comfort and power of the California. Push a switch and its hardtop roof will open completely in 14 seconds flat. Your kids will love how it opens, and can enjoy the breeze in their face as they cruise around in the ultimate sporty convertible. After your test drive, you will get the perfect souvenir, a DVD recording from an internal camera in the dashboard to watch together when you get home after your trip. After the test drive excitement, you will have likely worked up and appetite.

LUNCH IN NORTHERN ITALY
Head off to an all-inclusive lunch, where you and your family will enjoy some of the delicacies of this northern Italian city. Maranello is located in the region of Emilia-Romagna which is rich in agricultural diversity, giving kitchens extraordinary raw ingredients to work with – not to mention the amazing wines from the area such as sparkling Pignoletto or Lambrusco. If you have visited southern Italy, you will be amazed at how very different food is from region to region throughout all of Italy. After lunch, it’s off to the Ferrari Museum. This museum does an incredible job of taking its visitors on the journey of Ferrari, from the very roots of the early ideas of Enzo Ferrari, also known as the “grande vecchio” – the great old man. You and your kids will learn all about the brand known for its prancing horse symbol by seeing all past and collectible cars, hearing stories about racing champions, and getting a glimpse of the huge trophy room within the museum. The excitement doesn’t end there, as no Ferrari day would be complete without a thrilling Formula 1 experience. Adults get to experience 15 minutes in an original F1 simulator, and the kids have some fun in the museum’s child-friendly simulators. It’s a full day of Ferrari fun, for the adults and the kids!
